Tonkin cane, also known as "Teastick Bamboo" and "Tsinglee Canes". An American instructor and professor at Lingan University in Guangdong,
China from 1919-1941 . 'Tonkin' bamboo was assigned the scientific name of Arundinaria amabilis by Dr. Floyd McClure who was the first to scientifically
describe the plant and recognized that it was a distinct and previously unreported species. it is very strong thin bamboo species widely used in
flowers & trees planting and gardening,most important economic base on China resource most popular use in the world agriculture use,it has
diminutive nodes, thick walls, and is available in sizes from 1/4" to 2". The color is creamy white with less than 10% having a greenish tinge.
Suitable for making fly rods and supporting plants.
